.jpg) Our qualified team of counselors offer a Personalized Model Treatment which provides counseling to help the clients to resolve their problems and improving their life's style, in an understanding, empathetic and respectful environment. Our program is focused in the individual's personal needs, combining the individual counseling with couple and family when it is necessary for the client's mental health.
Hands For Health counselors give the emotional support, working closely with the clients being aware of their individual needs and expectations. We use the Active Listening Model, working both parties, client and counselor, toward setting client's goals, in a sensitive, caring, compassionated, and full attention environment.
Our team believe that every person deserve a good quality of life, specially when the client arrive to a new country. We understand and respect culture differences , such as languages, values and traditions. In a warm and safe environment our counselors provide basic information, referrals to appropriated agency and support to new immigrants during the process of adaptation and settlement in Canada, using the Short Term Model.
The counselling service is available also in Spanish.
